in lending a supportive hand to this vital award-winning
children's interactive art museum.
Maybe you have a few spare hours
a month to volunteer at the museum, or you'd like
to help plan and implement fund-raisers, write
grants, stuff envelopes, travel with Bubba the
Art Bus, or donate money or new/recycled materials.
Maybe all you can give right now
is your moral support...that's plenty! No dues,
no commitment, just a sincere interest in providing
creative, artistic outlets for the children of
our local communities.

The ArtWorks Guild is a not-for-profit
organization affiliated with the ArtWorks Childrens
Museum in Lake County, Illinois.
The mission of the ArtWorks Guild
is to bring together adult artists as a group.
Group activities will include such things as Get-Togethers
which include demonstrations, presentations, entertainment,
art networking opportunities, work alongs, critiques,
discussions, themed evening exhibits, book and
videotape lending exchange.
Other benefits to the membership
include outdoor and indoor exhibitions, field
trips, opportunities to participate in and possibly
instruct art workshops, art competitions, community
and group art projects and when a location is
found possibly the inclusion of weekly fine art
and performing art classes.
To put it short and sweet
We are a bunch of artist's that
meet every other month to talk art and have a
great time.
